The Dew Answer

The wedding day was assigned together. Enok called his neighbors to help to prepare his marriage moment with Mambang. Enok’s neighbors were very happy. They decorated Enok’s home, served a variety of foods and drinks. They hold some performances to celebrate the wedding.

One morning in the past, a young fellow looked nervous. The name of him was Bujang Enok. He was nervous because he was waiting for his proposal for a girl. Not a common girl he asked but a special one. He proposed a dew to become his wife.

“It’s getting late. Will your sisters come?” asked Enok, daring to ask Mambang.

“I do not know,” said Mambang.

She was astonished staring the blue sky swept by the white clouds. She had been sitting for a long time, expecting her sisters, the six dews, to come and pick her up. At least sent news for her.

“Enok, what did you ask before?” suddenly Mambang asked Enok.

The anxious face, the orange scarf dew looked pale. But now Mambang’s face seems calmer. She no longer expected the arrival of her sisters. In heaven, the violation of one person is the responsibility of all.
